The Shop

At an undisclosed location in the Boonies outside The Classic City, The Shop has quickly become one of my favorite places to run to. Within its dusty confines, I find a clarity that is not typically present in my mind, and am able to immerse myself in my work. I am fortunate enough to have a workspace full of tools and toys to use when crafting. The Shop has just about anything I could possibly need to learn and better myself as a carpenter. This is my playground.

The table saw. Terrifying. I hate this tool, but it is usually the first tool I use when begin a project. It cuts width as well as bevels. All possible bad scenarios I have thought of that COULD happen in The Shop happen at the table saw.

The mounted circular saw. Cuts length and angles.

The band saw. Cuts detail and curves. Anything too tiny or intricate for the first two saws comes here.

The belt sander. My favorite tool. Smooths the wood and fixes the cuts I mess up. The miracle tool.

All of the wood is hand-cut at a different location. Once it come to The Shop, I use all of the tools above to cut and shape the wood to specification. Hand-cut, hand-shaped, hand-made.
